Over a dozen kits now in production
Mount Vernon, OH: sdplanesUSA, LLC today announced that there are now over one dozen sd-1 single seat kits sold and being built in North America! This milestone is a major move for sdplanesUSA on its mission to show experimental aircraft lovers just how within reach the sky can be.

The sd1 Minisport boasts the following features:
- Vne of 131mph, with a cruise of 110mph
- Climb rate of 750 feet per minute
- Unrivaled pricing; 51% tail wheel kit, including engine, is just $16,750 + s&h
For those who prefer to bring a friend along for the flight, sdplanesUSA also offers the sd-2 Sportsmaster. With dual controls, and a sleek airframe the sd-2 tops out at 175 mph and has a cruise of 150 mph. All kits originate in the Czech Republic and require a 12-week lead time from initial order to shipment.
“As the current fleet reaches completion, we will have enough planes for a pretty good fly-in,” says Vining.
